Education and professional career

  • Master of Law from the University of Barcelona (1974).
  • Diploma in English Law from the City of London Polytechnic (1971). 
  • He is a Senior Judge on leave of absence from the Judiciary and the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
  • He was President of the Barcelona Provincial Appeal Court (1996-2000) and is legal adviser to the Asociación Profesional de la Magistratura.

  • American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute.


  • He was a lecturer of Procedural Law at ESADE (Law Faculty) (1994-1996).
